PLAY: Seeing & Doing See, explore and discover new ways of seeing and doing.

To see is more than just looking with your eyes;
it is a way to try, to do, and to experience.

Here in the lobby of the Seoul Children’s Museum,
three artworks invite you to explore.

Come closer and look carefully.
See things differently and imagine.
Listen well and use all your senses.
Look together to find something new.

When you stay curious and try new things,
seeing becomes a play—
a way to create your very own way of looking at the world.

How to spend time with your child

Encourage your child to play together, take on small challenges, and experience a sense of achievement.

  • 01

Follow your child’s way of seeing. Encourage them to choose what they want to explore and engage freely.
Independent choice deepens their engagement in play.
  • 02

Pause and look. “What do you see?” “What does it look like if you see it differently?”
Ask open-ended questions to encourage your child’s perspective and imagination.
  • 03

Value your child’s small attempts and expressions. When you respect and respond to their ideas,
their confidence and sense of achievement grow.
  • 04

See and play together. When caregivers take part in play,
they share ideas with their child and the joy of the experience deepens.
